1. Develop an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects

2. Hone programming skills

3. Learn problem-solving and teamwork

4. Develop creativity and get hands-on training:

5. Ignite curiosity and make learning fun

Having well-tuned communication skills empowers children to navigate social environments, collaborate with others, perform well academically, and achieve their goals.

Innovation with Strategy

In the context of educational research, development of new areas of knowledge is noted, for instance robots in education has been developing around the world since the 1980s in the US,Europe and Asia.

Nigeria and Africa are decades behind this Massive Technological Shift. This can associated with the major factors for under-development in both the Country and Continent presently. At Viosam Software Labs we have structured our Courses and Programmes to teach Robotics and Programming early in basic education at Primary and Secondary levels.

Educational Robotics

Particular emphasis has been placed on supporting the learning process by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), such as Educational Robotics (Mubin et al., 2013).The term Educational Robotics (ER) refers to the teaching practice that the teacher engages in, using robots as a tool for designing and integrating the educational process (Misirli & Komis, 2014) and which began to be gradually shaped in the 1960s through the pedagogical movement of Logo with Seymour Papert as its creator.

It is a learning approach constructed through composing projects (project-based learning), defned by the use of ICT in education. Furthermore, it is based on Piaget’s theory of constructivism and constructionism according to Papert (Alimisis, 2013). He claims that even if you tell people some information, they reconstruct a personal version and understanding. Learning is something we do – no one can do it for us (Catlin, 2022). ER mechanical constructions are accompanied by simple graphical programming environments which enable users to transform their constructions into intelligent objects interacting with the environment and responding to external stimulations (Sapounidis & Alimisis, 2020).
